Description of the Position:

The DMG is responsible for the marketing of all communications, public relations and promotional activities selected to support the brand and marketing strategy. The DMG is also responsible for keeping the brand in front of the target audience.  This role works closely with our leadership team to manage press relations, speaking engagements, special events and community outreach activities. Website maintenance, social media participation and trade show exhibitions represent additional opportunities for this person to shine in this role.

  • Supports the process of planning, developing and implementing digital and social media strategies;
  • Liaises and network with stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations;
  • Supports sales pipeline;
  • Writes content for websites, blog, and social media;
  • Manages client relationships to develop effective and high impact marketing campaigns;
  • Identifies and discuss advertising needs with prospective clients and create complete solutions;
  • Promotes company products and services to potential/existing clients;
  • Communicates with target audiences and manage customer relationships, and CRM process;
  • Sources and manages advertising opportunities and placements;
  • Supports and manages marketing campaigns;
  • Liaises with design, creative, and client teams;
  • Implements and monitor metrics to track and evaluate marketing and media initiatives;
  • Analyzes, tracks and evaluates the effectiveness of market campaigns and provide follow-up reports at team meetings;
  • Monitors competitor activity and conduct competitive research to analyze competing projects, market trends, customer needs, and identify new marketing initiatives;
  • Collaborates with internal teams to manage initiatives and tasks relating to marketing projects;
  • Achieves marketing objectives by contributing marketing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews;
  • Prepares and complete action plans;
  • Is a creative thinker and problem solver;
  • Is a team player who collaborates and works closely with fellow gurus and team members;
  • Writes and proofreads copy for Web site, Newsletters, and other marketing initiatives as required;
  • Writes and create social media posts;
  • Develops, plans, and implements social media campaigns;
  • Works with leadership team to develop and implement integrated multi-channel marketing plans in support of the company’s long-term strategy and operation plans;
  • Develops innovative multi-channel marketing programs and strategies for assigned portfolios within a designated region and/or area.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Business or in a related discipline is preferred
  • 3-5 years marketing experience
  • 2-3 years social media marketing
  • Examples of how you have previously demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities
  • Ambitious, motivated, passionate about driving change and achieving results
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office & the ability to learn new applications
  • Willing to travel as required
